Hi ladies, I hope you can help me!!!
I'm looking, desperately, for some advice ref to Kaitlyn (she's 10 months now). Last week she seemed to have developed separation anxiety that's caused her to completely want nothing to do with being in her crib. I called the dr. to get his opinion and he reccommened she 'cry it out.'
Well, it's been a week and that is getting us nowhere! She's sitting/standing up in the crib refusing to lay down. And if we'd let her, she'll cry all night. At first we brought her to bed with us, but we stopped, not wanting to get her into that habit. The only thing that seems to help is for one of us to lay down next to her crib until she calms down and falls asleep. Then when she wakes up in the middle of the night, we have to start all over.
Do you ladies have any advice for me? Normally I'm pro cry-it-out, but this time that's just not cutting it!
Thanks so much!!!!!
Erin
